I use a very communicative and interactive teaching style. Based on my BA degree in Applied Languages and my MSc degree in Applied Neuroscience and Psychology from King’s College London as well as my 4 years of teaching experience and my own language learning, I know that active participation and language application is key to learning, improving, and mastering a foreign language. Most importantly, I want to make my students feel comfortable, confident and empowered on their language journey.

One of my main goals is always to make my students feel comfortable, confident and empowered to take ownership of their language journey, to make mistakes (because that is how we learn) and to enjoy the process. I believe that language learning should be fun and an enriching experience. Ultimately, a language is a tool that can open many doors, and I fully believe that anyone can learn a language with the right support.

Given my university’s degrees in Business, Applied Languages, Neuroscience, and Psychology, I am well equipped to teach languages (English and German) within the fields of Business, Science, Communication, Psychology, as well as any everyday context. I have taught teenagers, young adults as well as senior learners and I am fully equipped to teach people of any age and background. I have been teaching English and German for over 4 years in primary and secondary schools, as well as at universities and as a private teacher online.

With a BA degree in Applied Languages and Business Studies I have over 8 years’ experience of working in Business Development within international corporate contexts. With my MSc degree in Applied Neuroscience from King’s College London, I have had the chance to collaborate within academic and research settings of a top global university. I have travelled extensively and taught both English and German online as well as in-person in Peru, Ireland and Indonesia. I am also a certified Yoga instructor and have been teaching Yoga for over 3 years in countries like Costa Rica, Indonesia and Fiji.
