Bio:
I live in UK since 2011 and have lots of experience teaching Spanish to people from all levels. I have been teaching for several years in London offering in person and online lessons, for groups of students and one to one lessons. I love teaching and find so gratifying to see my student's progress and to witness how they achieve their goals. Goals such as doing a speech in Spanish for a wedding, getting a job, being able to communicate with their partners families… It makes me feel so proud!
My teaching methodology:
My teaching background:
I have been living in UK for more than 10 years and have lots of experience teaching Spanish to people from all levels. I studied a Graduate Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults (GCSLTA) at the Instituto Cervantes in London and University of Roehampton.. Since then I have been working teaching Spanish in different centres and schools, for different companies and private classes both in person and online. I am also a creator of materials and have taught more creative workshops related to Spanish and Hispanic culture. I have experience teaching classes mainly to adults although I also took Spanish clubs in schools and worked and currently work with teenagers (GCSE)
My background outside of teaching:
As well as my certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults at Instituto Cervantes in London, I have a Fine Arts degree and a MA in Contemporary Photography:Practices and Philosophies at Central Saint Martins in London. My experience in the art field, running creative workshops and giving talks about art related topics, provides a unique and creative lens to language learning that can lead to more engaging, hands-on activities and exercises that develop emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills.
