My name is Nonhlanhla Michelle, but most people call me Nonie. I'm from South Africa, a country known for its wildlife and safaris. After living abroad and learning a new language myself, I understand the confusion, excitement, and small wins that come with it. Today, I'm a qualified English teacher with four years of experience teaching children and adults online, in Poland, and through volunteer work. My classes are calm, supportive, and focused on real communication, not just grammar.

In my classes, I act as your English partner. You don't need to worry about making mistakes; they are treated as part of the learning process. Students are encouraged to speak freely, explore ideas, and express thoughts naturally, much like talking through a journal or personal reflection. I use flexible materials such as topic-based prompts, short texts, and real-life scenarios. One activity I often use is asking students to write an idea. We work on the text by improving it step by step, finding more natural and interesting ways to say the same idea, and practicing different versions through speaking. Activities focus on guided conversation, creative sentence-building, role-plays, and topic-based discussions. Evaluation is ongoing and supportive, based on speaking tasks, written examples created in class, and continuous feedback. Corrections are shared clearly using the chat or whiteboard so students can see, understand, and reuse them confidently.

I am a qualified English teacher with four years of experience. I taught English in a variety of settings, including online lessons, volunteer programs, and in-person classes in Poland, where I worked with children at elementary and high school levels from the local community. Over the years, I have worked with students from Asia, Latin America, Canada, and Europe, many of whom come from diverse professional backgrounds: engineers, lawyers, psychologists, social workers, IT specialists, and health professionals, to name just a few. I teach all age groups, from children to adults, and work with learners from lower to upper-intermediate levels.

Before becoming a language teacher, I studied law, which trained me to explain complex ideas in clear, simple language. I worked closely with people who struggled to express themselves confidently in formal or high-pressure situations, such as meetings, interviews, and academic discussions. My role often involved listening carefully and helping them organize their thoughts so they could speak clearly and be understood. I also served as a student representative at my university, where I acted as a communication bridge between students and management. This experience strengthened my ability to explain information clearly, adapt my language to different audiences, and support people who needed guidance in structured or professional environments.
