*My students should expect to speak a lot. They should expect to enjoy themselves and be encouraged. *I rely on a wide variety of activities that actively engage students of all ages, from children to adults. I use both prepared and self-created activities that are tailored to the needs of my students. *The outside companies I use are Fluentize, ESL Brains, ESL Pals, and Twinkl. *I also utilize other platforms, such as Kahoot and Boom Learning to add a little fun and variety. *Videos from YouTube. * If you are looking for intensive grammar study, I have textbooks for that too. *I also create my own materials so that lessons can be more specific to a student's exact needs. The students have widely appreciated this. For example, one student is quite a fan of Johnny Depp and she's enjoyed the lessons based on his music and movie career- including a dialogue where she bumped into him on the street! Another student was preparing to lead a meeting in Beijing, where his company would focus on developing a new company strategy. He wanted to run the meeting using theories in a particular book and sent me a copy. I was able to use AI to produce lessons that helped him access the exact language he needed, which allowed us to have some great practice sessions to help him feel more comfortable leading those sessions. * Students receive materials before the lesson, making it easier for them to prepare and take notes.
