Bio:
Hello, I’m Godsgift, but you can call me Gee. I am a TEFL-certified English tutor with 7+ years of experience. I help students speak clearly, confidently, and naturally in real-life situations. My lessons focus not only on grammar, but on practical communication, using simple explanations, real examples, and lots of speaking practice to improve your fluency and accuracy.
My teaching methodology:
Students can expect practical, engaging, and interactive lessons focused on real communication. I use a mix of structured materials, including grammar guides, conversation prompts, role plays, and real-life scenarios to help you apply what you learn immediately.
My classes include speaking practice, error correction, and personalised feedback to help you improve quickly. I also use exercises such as fill-in-the-gaps, sentence building, and discussion activities to strengthen both accuracy and fluency.
Progress is continuously monitored through informal evaluations, regular review, and targeted corrections, ensuring you stay on track and see clear improvement over time.
My teaching background:
I have been teaching English professionally since 2014, working with both children (ages 4–16) and adults of all levels. I specialise in grammar, conversation, English for travel, and Business English, as well as exam preparation for IELTS, FCE, and CAE. My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to help each student achieve their specific goals.
My background outside of teaching:
I have a strong background in science, holding a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry and experience working in the petroleum industry. I also have a creative side, with years of involvement in theatre during my university days. Currently, I work as an English tutor and a Human Resource Manager, combining communication, teaching, and people management in my professional career.
