Hey, how's it going? My name is Kassandra, and I'm an English teacher from the United States. I help students who know the basics of English yet don't feel confident speaking. Do you need English for work? Then we'll use real-life materials (articles, conversations, TedTalks, etc.) so that you learn how native speakers use English -- no unnatural textbook language! Do you need English for a TOEFL, IDELTS, or Cambridge exam? Then we'll draw from official exam preparation materials, making sure that you understand the tips and tricks to earning a passing mark.

I studied education at Columbia University and Cambridge. After earning my B.A. and CELTA certification, I moved to Europe, where I've taught English in Spain and France for 5+ years. I've worked with complete beginners to advanced business professionals. The only thing I look for in students is a willingness to learn, make mistakes, and improve.

When I'm not teaching online, I'm doing cognitive science research on how humans learn language. At the Université de Paris Cité, I study how new neural networks form during the language learning process.
