Sasha Savinov

When it comes to learning a language, there's no substitute for engaging with a native speaker. I've learned this in my journey to study foreign languages over the years and I aim to help my students feel comfortable speaking English. I've taught students of all ages and all levels from places as diverse as China, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. I have over 10 years of experience as an ESL teacher.

I will engage students in free talk and make them feel comfortable doing so. I'm very easy-going and personable and like to get to know my students. I will plan lessons according to their interests and level using high-quality materials. I have plenty of experience planning my own lessons as well as access to a great resource center. My classes have various exercises to help students improve.

I've been teaching for 20 years now. I started by tutoring younger students in my hometown and went on to tutor students in ACT/SAT when I was in college. Since 2008, I've been an ESL teacher. I taught for six years in China, from kindergartens to corporate offices and now work online.

I have been living abroad and traveling for over a decade now. As a result, I'm comfortable speaking with people from different backgrounds. I'm passionate about language learning and understand how difficult it can be. I love to travel and learn about new cultures while teaching others
