Biografía:
As a teacher of French as a Foreign Language since 2012, I have been enjoying teaching in any setting, be it a school or independently. I particularly enjoy the interpersonal and intercultural dynamics that are happening through language. For that reason also, I have been living abroad since I was 19 years old, for University first. In fact, I never really stopped studying and also work on a PhD thesis, on the theme on Otherness and Language, with Hegel, Lacan and Merleau-Ponty.
Mi metodología de enseñanza:
Mi experiencia docente:
I have been teaching for 15 years in international schools (8 years), privately (3 years) and online (4 years), to a wide range of ages and levels, from children (6 years old and above) to adults. Diplomas taught were DELF and DALF, but also IGCSE and A-levels, with very good results. My record to date - but I should say our record - is with a student in Greece achieving the B2 DALF exam in 8 months (from scratch but lots of motivation, although less hard work...)
Mi experiencia fuera de la enseñanza:
Skilled in Teaching KS3 to KS5 pupils, translation and linguistics. Strong education professional with a Master's degree focused in Didactic of French as a foreign language from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III). I also undertook, 16 years ago, independent research on language in its relationship to difference and the other, i.e. in a kind of theoretical perspective looking back at enunciation, in relation to thoughts inspired from authors such as Hegel, Merleau-Ponty, Lacan, and others. At the same time, I update a blog for my students and anyone interested in learning the language through its authors, not textbooks: https://discoursetlangue.wordpress.com/
