I am Karina and I am an experienced teacher.To tutor all ages who want to learn a language, has been a passion throughout my life. I am educated at the University of Lund, Sweden, and have been working as a teacher for more than 20 years, in Sweden,Denmark and online.I am warm, caring, creative, structured with a great sense of humor and love languages.Native swedish/danish and speak English proficiently, beginner German,Spanish and a little Turkish. My teaching has been broad. In one of my first jobs at the swedish employment service, I worked as s teamleader for students, where I taught Them how towrite a CV and a personal letter about themselves. I also have worked a lot with refugees as a Swedish teacher, where I met people from many different cultures. In my work as a teacher, I have worked with many things: mother tongue teachers in Danish, "second language" teachers, special need teacher, immigrant teacher and in primaryschools. For the last five years, I have worked online for GLT, mYngle and Preply.

Mi experiencia fuera de la enseñanza:

As a person, I am very independent, responsible and I have an easy time collaborating at, and outside my workplace. I have a broad professional experience that has given me good knowledge of the requirements and working conditions in various industries.It has also made me learn to prioritize and create structure in my work.I have worked with disabled people in the healthcare department and as a placement mediator at the County Labor Board. In my work I have met different groups of people, and I have learned how to best approach each one of them, to gain an understanding of their conditions. I started working at 16, with minor jobs: cleaning,waitress...and so on. After that, I took a two-year healthcare education with a focus on working with children and young people. After that I traveled a lot and I also worked in the US for 6 months. I am warm, caring, creative, structured and I have a great sense of humor. I love my golden retriever, travelling and learning new languages.
